Privacy Policy
Before & After · Last updated: June 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Before & After
("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. By using the App you
agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
We do not require an account, and we do not ask you for your name, email, or other
personal details to play. Information is handled in three ways:
-
Advertising data (via Google AdMob). To show ads, Google may collect
device identifiers (including the Apple Advertising Identifier, IDFA, where you allow it),
IP address, general device information, and ad-interaction data. This is used to deliver
and measure ads. See
Google's Privacy Policy and
how Google uses advertising data.
-
Purchase data (via RevenueCat and Apple). If you buy a premium
subscription or lifetime unlock, purchase and transaction details and an anonymous
app-user identifier are processed to manage your entitlement. Apple handles the payment;
we never receive your card or billing details. See
RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
-
On-device game data. Your progress — streak, coins, daily play count,
and settings — is stored locally on your device. It stays on your device and is not
transmitted to us.
App Tracking Transparency
On first launch we ask, via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, whether you allow
use of your device's advertising identifier for personalized ads. You can decline and
still play the App — you will simply see non-personalized ads. You can change this any time
in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
How we use information
- To run the game and save your progress on your device.
- To display and measure advertisements.
- To process and restore premium purchases.
Third-party services
The App relies on these providers, each governed by its own privacy policy:
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. Data is processed by the third-party services
listed above solely to provide advertising and purchase functionality, in accordance with
their policies.
Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal
information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the App,
contact us and we will address it.
Your choices and rights
- Decline or revoke ad tracking via iOS Settings (see above).
- Purchasing premium removes ads entirely.
- Delete the App to remove all locally stored game data.
-
Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under
the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access or delete personal data held about you.
Contact us to make a request.
Data retention
Game data lives on your device until you delete the App. Advertising and purchase data are
retained by the respective third-party providers per their own retention policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating
the "Last updated" date above.
